About AngelList We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We want to give more people the opportunity to participate in the venture economy by building the financial infrastructure that makes it possible for more people to invest in world changing startups, and build tools for startups that help them run their operations so they can focus on building.

AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support over $171B+ assets on our platform, and we’ve driven capital to over 13,000 startups. 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList.

While our scale is large, our ambitions are even larger – we’re innovating on the financial infrastructure for venture investors and the startups they invest in. Come build with us.

About the Role Meridian is a new team within AngelList, focused on building wealth products for the growing class of self-directed investors who want access to private markets without working through traditional wealth advisors.

As the Product Designer for Meridian, you’ll own the zero-to-one design work required to take a new product to market. That means talking directly with customers, turning insights into elegant design solutions, and collaborating closely with product and engineering to ensure underlying systems are cohesive as we iterate. Just as important, you’ll need to set a high bar for visual and interaction design — making private markets intuitive, engaging, and delightful to use.

You’ll enjoy this role if you thrive in ambiguity, love building zero-to-one products, and are excited to give investors new ways to participate in private markets.

Design new products and features that open private markets to self-directed investors

Talk regularly with customers, using research and insights to clarify problems and drive great design solutions

Prototype and explore concepts that broaden the team’s imagination and guide better product decisions

Partner with product to evolve and communicate Meridian’s vision through design

Collaborate with engineering to make sure what we’re shipping to customers meets our high standards

Qualifications

Have 7+ years of experience designing consumer facing products in complex domains

Thrive in 0→1 environments, bringing clarity and creativity to ambiguous problem spaces

Want to design experiences that make private markets more accessible and intuitive for investors

Regularly talk to customers and use research to drive design decisions

Hold a very high bar for craft, quality, and consistency across every detail of the experience

If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.
