Job purpose: As a member of the fairlife Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and The Coca-Cola Company North America PACS Leadership Team, this role drives an integrated approach to Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability for the fairlife business in the US and Canada. The VP, PACS will support fairlife’s sustainability agenda in line with broader TCCC goals, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and safeguard fairlife’s reputation through proactive and reactive strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand’s mission to use the phrase "nourish the modern world." The leader will also provide ad hoc support to the Coca-Cola juice business and will operate at strategic and operational levels, collaborating across fairlife, The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), and key stakeholders to advance business goals while addressing consumer, societal, and regulatory needs. Public Affairs & Advocacy: Position fairlife as a leader in the dairy industry by engaging with key industry groups, trade associations, stakeholders, and the Coca-Cola NA PACs team to engage with federal and state policymakers in the US and Canada. Collaborate to advance sustainability, animal welfare, ethical farming practices, ingredient regulation, farm labor, and innovation in dairy. Ensure fairlife’s leadership adds value to The Coca-Cola Company’s broader agenda in a complementary, non-competitive manner. Build and strengthen farm-level relationships with key dairy stakeholders to champion ethical and responsible practices. Drive initiatives that elevate animal welfare, human rights, and sustainable farming within the dairy supply chain. Foster open communication with dairy cooperatives to align objectives and progress. Partner with The Coca-Cola Company teams on government and regulatory engagements, ensuring alignment with Coca-Cola’s advocacy framework while advancing fairlife’s leadership agenda. Advocate for fairlife’s priorities to enhance Coca-Cola’s system reputation and build collaborations with lawmakers, regulators, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Monitor regulatory developments that may impact fairlife’s business, independently and as part of broader Coca-Cola Company initiatives. Focus areas include agriculture, sustainability, animal welfare, and food & beverage manufacturing. Crisis Management & Reputation Stewardship: Lead crisis communications strategy, planning, and execution to manage reputational risks in line with Coca-Cola’s procedures. Identify emerging issues and mitigate risk in partnership with TCCC’s PACS team. Communications & Brand Reputation: Develop internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned. Lead executive communications for the CEO and other leaders, crafting messaging and thought leadership. Provide support to the juice team and collaborate with brand PR counterparts. Oversee brand PR to elevate fairlife’s visibility and act as spokesperson as needed for media engagements and public forums. Sustainability & CSR: Drive fairlife’s sustainability plan aligned with Coca-Cola’s strategy, track ESG priorities (carbon reduction, water stewardship, responsible sourcing, animal welfare, human rights, packaging, waste reduction), and oversee community presence in Chicago. Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain to embed sustainability into business and brand strategies. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Build relationships with internal stakeholders across fairlife and TCCC. Represent fairlife and juice on the North America TCCC PACS Leadership Team and align PACS strategies with commercial, operational, and marketing goals. Qualifications & Requirements

15+ years of leadership experience in public affairs, corporate communications, sustainability, or related functions, ideally in food, beverage, or consumer goods. Proven ability to lead proactive and reactive public affairs and communications in high-visibility settings. Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments (policymakers, regulators, industry associations, NGOs, communities). Extensive crisis response and reputational risk management experience, including media relations and issue monitoring. Executive leadership & stakeholder management: ability to work with senior leadership, influence across functions, and represent the company publicly. Experience aligning sustainability goals with business growth and consumer expectations. Strong knowledge of the Chicago market and local community relationships. Experience leading teams and developing talent. Strategic agility, exceptional communication skills, collaborative leadership, solutions-oriented mindset, growth mindset, and data-driven decision making. Position Details
