As part of the Amazon Entertainment ecosystem, PV is a premium streaming service offering customers a vast collection of TV shows, movies, live events, and news – all in one seamless destination. We’re looking for a strategic HR partner to help shape the future of this work. The Principal HR Business Partner for Prime Video Product and Design will partner directly with PV executives who are reshaping how millions experience entertainment, driving organizational capability and high-impact people initiatives. You’ll drive initiatives spanning organizational structure, operating models, decision rights, culture, and an engaged workforce that embraces AI and the future of streaming. The role requires both strategic vision and practical execution in day-to-day talent operations, with comfort in analyzing workforce metrics and advising senior leaders on sensitive topics. Occasional travel (10-15%) may be required. Responsibilities
Collaborate with executive leaders on strategic workforce planning Partner with recruitment to design innovative hiring strategies for critical roles Attend business meetings to deepen understanding of long-term vision and talent needs Develop a culture plan to drive AI-first operating models, high-performance leadership, and alignment with the overall vision Coach leaders through organizational changes and growth opportunities Analyze attrition and engagement data to develop targeted retention initiatives Collaborate with executive leaders on an ML-excellence framework for Prime Video Meet with compensation to discuss strategies that reward excellence and innovation About The Team
The role is part of the Amazon People Experience and Technology (PXT) organization. PXT for Amazon Entertainment supports a portfolio of entertainment businesses across film, TV, live sports, music, podcasts, games, and more. You will be part of the PXT team that partners with Technology, Science, Product, and Design organizations in Prime Video. Our Product and Design team is a dynamic group of innovators who collaborate with HR to drive results. Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, or equivalent experience such as organizational consulting Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Preferred Qualifications
Strong business acumen and curiosity; ability to craft talent strategies that drive business impact Exceptional listening skills with ability to influence, relate to, and coach senior leaders Strong analytical skills with ability to deep dive data and build evidence-based recommendations Executive facilitation and writing skills Ability to collaborate with HR COE partners to deliver integrated support Ability to thrive through change and leverage GenAI to positively impact employees Experience partnering with executive-level technical and creative leaders Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $117,000.00/yr - $193,400.00/yr. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets and may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
