A leading power client of Insight Global is seeking a Substation Designer to join their team in Leawood, KS. In this role, youll focus on creating physical substation layouts while also helping to develop design standards and procedures. Youll work closely with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality designs that support construction and operations. Must Haves

• 3+ years of experience as a substation designer within power generation OR gas generation OR fossil fuels
• Ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings
• Basic understanding of design software such as: PLSCAD OR E3D OR Plant 3D OR AutoCAD OR MicroStation

Pay: $100,000 - $130,000
