Position Overview

As the Packaging Production Artist, you’ll bring technical precision and speed to finalizing packaging and label artwork for Alani Nu’s fast-growing wellness portfolio. This is your opportunity to apply your production expertise in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.

You’ll bring deep knowledge of packaging workflows, file preparation, and print processes, along with the ability to optimize files for diverse substrates and compliance standards. Thriving under deadlines, you’ll collaborate with creative, regulatory, and production partners to ensure error-free, brand-consistent output across multiple SKUs.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of production art experience with a focus on label and packaging design in fast-paced environments
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) with expert-level speed using hotkeys
  • Strong knowledge of dielines, resolution, bleed, color modes, and packaging production specifications
  • Familiarity with printing on a variety of substrates and within tight tolerances
  • Ability to manage multiple SKUs simultaneously with accuracy and version control discipline
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with designers, regulatory teams, and vendors
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), cosmetics, supplements, or other regulated industries
  • Understanding of FDA, EU, and other packaging compliance standards
  • Experience with 3D visualization tools such as Esko Studio Visualizer or Adobe Dimension
  • Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices and print best practices

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and finalize production-ready packaging files across labels and flexible packaging formats
  • Set up dielines, prep layers, convert color spaces, and optimize file structures for print accuracy
  • Execute quick turnarounds using efficient workflows and design shortcuts to maximize productivity
  • Ensure accuracy in typography, barcodes, legal copy, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with designers, regulatory partners, and print vendors to align on technical and compliance standards
  • Preflight, proof, and troubleshoot files for error-free print execution across substrates including paper, plastic, foil, and film
  • Manage multiple SKUs simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, speed, and version control
  • Maintain organized file systems and update master packaging templates as needed

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
