Position Summary
The Sr. Sales Director will drive growth by expanding Rhythm Influence’s presence with holding companies, independent agencies, and direct brand clients. This role requires an experienced sales leader who brings deep relationships with influencer marketing decision-makers, can hit the ground running, and thrives on building creative solutions that solve client challenges. Supported by a cross-functional team of strategists, account managers, and activation experts, you’ll have the tools and backing to deliver high-impact campaigns across categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships across major holding companies, independent agencies, and direct brand clients.
- Consistently exceed revenue goals by driving new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Leverage an extensive network of influencer marketing decision-makers to open doors, shorten sales cycles, and expand market share.
- Position Rhythm Influence’s differentiated value proposition: advanced solutions such as always-on annual ambassadorships, event activations, experiential integrations, and studio-quality content production.
- Deliver highly customized, managed-service influencer activations aligned to brand and agency needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (strategy, activation, creative, and social) to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction.
- Maintain high activity levels, including prospecting, 5+ external meetings weekly, client entertainment, and attendance at industry events.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of influencer marketing sales experience required.
- Extensive relationships with influencer marketing decision-makers across holding companies, agencies, and Fortune 500 brands.
- Proven ability to exceed revenue goals with above-average order sizes.
- Demonstrated success in penetrating new accounts and expanding client portfolios.
- Creative thinker and problem solver with the ability to craft bespoke client solutions.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, able to work seamlessly with multiple internal support teams.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Salary and benefits: In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. Compensation is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Location-based adjustments may apply.
