Overview

The Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for The Walt Disney Company, encompassing all aspects of music commercialization and marketing: recorded music (Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing, and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music both physically and digitally and licenses music worldwide in various media including television, print, gaming, and consumer products.

The role of Marketing Coordinator for the Disney Music Group will be part of the Disney Branded marketing team responsible for multiple marketing activities across the DMG. The position reports to the VP of Marketing and supports the overall marketing team on executing campaigns, assisting with product development activities, supporting promotional and new business opportunities for film, series, and show soundtracks, as well as catalog management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the VP and the marketing department — coordinating meetings/schedules, processing invoices, and maintaining priority planning documents.
  • Collaborate with and support the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns and drive awareness for soundtracks, concerts, and other DMG initiatives.
  • Maintain and disseminate relevant documents and information to DMG staff to keep the division up-to-speed on the latest marketing and promotion initiatives for assigned projects.
  • Support all aspects of product releases including campaign planning, execution, and product development for soundtracks and concerts.
  • Assist with creative development and asset acquisition for marketing materials – packaging, advertising, promotional, and video assets for soundtracks and concerts.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, documents, and materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain asset management files, product release calendars, and content documents.
  • Must be available to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays are remote, with flexibility to work onsite or on location as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.

The hiring range for this position in California is $50,300.00-$65,000.00 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
