Role: Associate Photographers are the talented team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. They create virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential homes using Matterport Pro3 cameras and other equipment. Each photographer covers a defined market territory and coordinates appointments to capture property visuals.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing high-quality 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
• Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, applying photography techniques to showcase spaces.
• Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
• Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
• Navigate one-mile square grids to identify and capture commercial real estate data when not on a residential assignment.
• Identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to be photographed.
• Adhere to CoStar safety standards to safeguard vehicle and equipment; maintain professional representation of CoStar.
• Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
• Repetitive hand/arm movements for operating camera equipment and tablets/laptops.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying.
• Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons, including weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional photography experience; real estate photography preferred.
• Experience as a professional photographer or recently earned degree in photography.
• Drone photography experience with FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
• Strong time management, detail orientation, data entry accuracy, and excellent written/spoken communication.
• Proficiency with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; field experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record check prior to start.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly position with monthly performance-based bonuses; compensation approximates $50,000 annually before bonuses.
