Overview

Are you an experienced Senior UI Engineer with strong skills in WPF, XAML, and C++ looking to create visually appealing, high-performance user interfaces for a world-class gaming or simulation product? This is an opportunity to work on a mature simulation codebase, developing and enhancing user interface features that deliver an immersive and intuitive player experience. You will transform design concepts into fully functional UI elements, ensure consistency across the product, and collaborate closely with developers, artists, and designers to deliver polished, engaging results.

What you'll be doing

• Using WPF, XAML, and C++ to create complex and high-performing screens, features, custom widgets, and controls based on design specifications
• Ensuring consistent visual styles and maintaining a cohesive user interface across the product
• Maintaining high technical standards and identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement
• Collaborating effectively with development, design, art, and QA teams
• Rapidly prototyping new ideas to explore innovative UI solutions
• Producing clear technical documentation to accompany your implementations

What we're looking for

• High proficiency in WPF, XAML, and C++
• A passion for creating and playing video games or simulations, with a proactive and self-driven work ethic
• Experience working with proprietary game or simulation engines
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Ability to design and implement user interfaces that are visually engaging, performant, and aligned with user experience best practices
