Responsibilities
In this role, you will script, produce and edit vertical video for platforms including YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, as well as AP's website and app. From trending soundbites and breaking news to reporter-driven explainers and in-the-field dispatches, you are someone who can closely follow the news cycle to proactively identify stories and moments of interest to audiences. You will also monitor livestreams and cut highlights for the live blog, YouTube and APNews.com.
Reporting to the deputy director for digital and social video, this role can be based in New York, Washington, D.C., or Los Angeles.
