Takeda is hiring: Senior Writer in Mercer Island

Responsibilities (including but not limited to : )

• Craft clear, compelling copy across UX, marketing, and printed experiences that reflects our brand voice and supports ease of use, comprehension, and emotional connection
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, curriculum, and product teams to define content strategy, structure, and messaging across digital and physical touchpoints
• Develop and maintain voice and tone guidelines, including a branded terms library and clear examples of how language flexes across contexts
• Establish scalable content systems set up templates, naming conventions, and workflows that streamline future content creation
• Advise on naming strategy, including internal tools, product features, and parent-facing experiences
• Contribute to storytelling moments in partnership with design ensuring words and visuals work together to elevate meaning and engagement
• Iterate based on feedback and user insight, conduct light content audits, and provide copy-focused input to improve the overall experience

Deliverables (including but not limited to : )

• Library of branded terms and editorial guidelines for consistent customer-facing language
• Written copy for the pilot program and beyond, including :
• Activity instructions and parent-facing language
• Website landing pages and UX flows
• Marketing and email language to support go-to-market campaign
• Voice and tone documentation to support cross-functional implementation
• Feedback and suggestions on copy hierarchy, layout, and content structure
