Role Overview

Client is seeking a UI Developer with Airbus and FMS (New Flight Management System) expertise to join in a 6-month engagement with possible extensions. The role requires CI/FMCI functional experience for Airbus FMS, along with proven UI development skills in aerospace/avionics applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance UI modules for Airbus and FMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FMS features.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace software standards and safety-critical guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize UI functionality throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years in UI / software development.
  • Strong experience with Airbus FMS User Interface (UI) / Crew Interface (CI).
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI / FMCI functional areas within Airbus FMS.
  • Experience with ADA-based UI development or WebCIDT (Airbus internal crew interface tool / language).
  • Debugging, integration, and optimization of cockpit UI features.
  • Prior avionics / Airbus FMS experience preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $144,964, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
