Key Responsibilities
Design and execute a targeted marketing strategy to boost referral volume by cultivating strong relationships with local hospitals, clinics, physician practices, and key referral sources.
Amplify our visibility through active participation in community outreach, health fairs, and local events, establishing partnerships that enhance our facility’s reputation.
Engage discharge planners, case managers, and social workers with compelling educational resources, positioning yourself as the go-to hospital liaison for patient referrals.
Serve as the welcoming point of contact for referrals, guiding prospective residents and families through a seamless admissions process with clarity and compassion.
Conduct personalized on-site visits at hospitals and healthcare facilities, connecting directly with potential residents and addressing their unique needs.
Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to streamline assessments, coordinate evaluations, and prepare documentation for a smooth intake experience.
Track referral trends, admission rates, and community feedback to refine strategies and achieve ambitious census goals.
Use CRM tools to monitor referral source performance, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records of outreach efforts.
Partner with the Director of Business Development to set and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
Provide empathetic guidance on services, financial options, and available support, fostering trust and confidence among families.
Address concerns with professionalism and warmth throughout the decision-making process.
Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a welcoming, supportive community.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of healthcare marketing, community outreach, or similar experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care.
Proven hospital liaison experience with demonstrated success in building referral networks and driving census growth.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to residents and families.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities independently.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools for performance tracking.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare insurance programs to support patients and families in navigating coverage options.
Compensation
Salary: $85,000 base, plus performance-based incentives tied to referral growth and admissions impact.
