Overview
Job Title: Senior Product Designer Location: San Jose, CA (Open to fully remote candidates.) Duration: 4 months Contract Type: W2 only Pay Rate: $106.47 / Hour Important
Start-up and ideally AI experience required. The former is a critical component to navigate the speed of this space, and the latter will ensure a baseline understanding of what we can build. Responsibilities
Design simple, elegant, and intuitive user experiences powered by generative AI, driving step-change improvements to users’ document workflows. Work with product managers, researchers, engineers, and executive collaborators to establish and agree on design direction. Craft design artifacts at all levels of fidelity including journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups to articulate ideas and solutions. Partner with our research team to validate designs through user research, usability testing, and iterative feedback loops. Participate in developing the GenAI design strategy to maintain a user-friendly experience across various features. Leverage and contribute to Client’s design systems and patterns to maintain quality and consistency. Work independently, manage your own design priorities, and contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in UX / Product Design roles, with a proven track record delivering impactful, user-centered solutions. Expertise in solving complex, multi-layered design problems using systems thinking. Ability to lead and influence within a cross-functional environment, bringing strong strategic and tactical design skills. Experience crafting for complex technical products is a strong plus. Highly skilled with Figma and prototyping tools. Outstanding communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills, able to advocate for users and design principles with diverse audiences. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving product spaces. Passion for generative AI, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of traditional user experiences. Background in UX / AX, HCD, Visual Design, or similar is preferred.
