Senior Engineering Manager, GenStudio — Adobe ColdFusion. Lead and empower a team of engineers dedicated to delivering GenStudio web experiences and integrating generative AI features from product and applied research teams at Adobe. What you'll do

Manage your team of engineers from start to finish in developing the GenStudio web application, including research, design, security assessment, implementation, and feature delivery. Collaborate with product management and clients to define and refine the product roadmap, user experience, priorities, and schedule. Own the development life cycle, supervise progress, identify risks and opportunities, and provide access to senior leadership when needed. Attract, hire, onboard, and retain exceptional engineers through mentorship and professional growth. Use a combination of data and judgment to drive the team’s progress, balancing speed and quality. Cultivate a collaborative, positive, and productive work environment that fosters teamwork and shared success. Lead by example and promote enterprise-wide collaboration, trust, and respect to create outstanding products. Guide and coach a squad of web and backend engineers, unblock challenges, and celebrate achievements to expand impact. Advocate for engineering excellence, contribute to architecture and high-level structure of applications. Contribute to culture and process improvements across the broader engineering organization. What you need to succeed

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record leading software engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Strong technical background with experience developing commercially successful single-page web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Lit, GraphQL, and modern JavaScript languages like TypeScript. Excellent skills in evaluating systems architecture with full-stack technology knowledge. Ability to drive consensus on requirements, make timely decisions, provide guidance, prioritize tasks, and optimize scope and time. Passion for collaborating with design teams from concept to production and facilitating effective communication between engineers and designers. Proven ability to develop, lead, coach, and mentor software engineers, creating an environment that promotes growth. Ability to collaborate across cultures, time zones, and work styles. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,700 – $320,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. For sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission) with short-term incentives in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles start with base salary and short-term incentives via the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Some roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
