Overview
Front Row Motorsports (FRM) is looking for a qualified Director of Graphic Design to manage the visual brand identity for all assets related to the teams, drivers, and partners represented by FRM in the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series.
Responsibilities
Car and Truck Design:
The Director of Graphic Design will work with the FRM account team and partners to design paint schemes for all NASCAR Cup and Truck Series entries, plus accompanying edits. Coordinate with the in-house vinyl print and application team to ensure the correct presentation of the scheme on all cars and trucks.
Social Media & Content:
Create social media graphics as needed. Work closely with the FRM content team to deliver sponsor creative and graphic needs to help promote FRM and its drivers. Play a key role in developing FRM’s digital footprint and collaborate with the content team to create the graphic calendar and ensure all deliverables.
Other:
Design all FRM assets, working with the FRM account team. Assets to include team pit equipment, haulers, driver and team fire suits, crew shirts, pit banners, additional at-track branding opportunities, etc. Oversee any full- or part-time graphic designers hired in the future. Work with the FRM New Business team to create sales decks and potential car and truck artwork.
Required Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and five+ years of related design and production experience.
Experience in designing paint schemes is required. Accompanying knowledge of how to set up print files is preferred.
Experience designing graphics for social media is preferred.
Must be proficient in:
Adobe Illustrator
3D rendering in Blender or comparable software
Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities; strong attention to detail, proofreading and copywriting skills.
