In this role , the Brand Marketing Associate will join the Brand Marketing team at Chelsea Piers Fitness who are responsible for developing, producing and executing on all content for the brand. With five fitness clubs in NY and CT, and several more on the horizon, this person will be integral in growing the brand in a meaningful way through Social Media, Email, Web Content and more.
Responsibilities
Social Media
Execute all planned social media posts on all owned channels
Manage all owned social accounts (DMs, comments)
Develop, capture and edit off-calendar social content (trends, unplanned reactionary posts)
Put in briefs with Design Team for any design department driven social assets
Use Canva templates for marketing-driven social assets
Represent brand on social media, on-camera as needed, and support employee-actors on-camera
Facilitate influencer visits and other PR opportunities (with PR, Brand)
Expand social content to TikTok, LinkedIn and more
Email
Build all fitness Member and Prospect emails in Zoho Campaigns (15-20/month)
Put in briefs with Design for all email designs + email images/graphics
Update, build or confirm all lists and segments in Zoho Campaigns
Copywrite email content + linked blog posts based on Content Calendar
Schedule all fitness emails based on calendar
Website
Manage all brand-level website updates
Follow direction on the creation of new webpages and prepare briefs with copy and imagery
Collect feedback on other website recommendations and present to Marketing Leadership
Photo/Video + Graphic Design
Act as 1st assistant on all photo and video shoots, second shooter as needed
Assist on organizing location details, casting, run-of-show, ordering, invoicing and budget tracking on all photo shoots
Work on brand campaign assets for the app
Brand Projects
Ongoing photo/video organization including trafficking, naming and tags within our filing system
Build Canva project filing system
Reporting
Collect social and email stats for use in monthly reporting
Stay on top of social and email marketing trends as well as fitness industry trends and compile into quarterly trend reports
Qualifications
1-2 years experience in creative content creation.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and collaborative skills.
Fluency in Social Media and the unique qualities of each channel.
Previous experience in any Email client (Ex: MailChimp, Constant Contact).
Experience in both creating + briefing still and video content.
Experience with digital camera and iPhone photography/videography.
Interest in data and the use of analytics to inform content choices.
