Senior Director, Head of US Wealth Marketing

Job Summary The Head of U.S. Wealth Marketing will drive the growth of Barings’ wealth initiatives by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies tailored to financial advisors and intermediaries. The successful candidate will have deep experience in financial services and asset management, and be effective in a global, complex environment. Responsibilities include creating a wealth marketing plan to promote Barings’ investment management capabilities and raise brand awareness within the wealth market. The role requires marketing strategy, sponsored conferences and events, digital marketing and social media, project management, and collaboration with distribution, compliance, and investment management teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote Barings’ investment management capabilities to wealth management intermediaries
Partner with the marketing content team to produce educational content and insights for marketing channels, including social media, websites, and email newsletters
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
Collaborate with the sales and marketing events team to build a robust client entertainment and event strategy
Demonstrate commercial acumen and build, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors and industry partners
Work closely with the global marketing team to share ideas and create a cohesive global wealth strategy
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience
Experience with a financial services company/firm (asset management, banking, insurance, or investment management) is required; US wealth advisor experience is preferred
Effective verbal and written communicator
Highly collaborative and able to work across teams to achieve results
Direct experience with brand management, sponsorships/events, and digital marketing
Strong project management skills
B.S. or B.A. in Marketing or related field (preferred)
Base Salary Range: $120,000–$170,000 plus incentive compensation.
