Overview

This is a virtual Advertising Account Executive role based with Comcast Advertising. The candidate must reside within the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Southern Maryland areas. Job Responsibilities

Develop, service, and maintain a base of local clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or other media services to achieve established annual sales goals within the assigned sales team. Offer zone buying to enable small advertisers to reach customers in their retail trading areas. Work with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge for a medium-budget role. Analyze, develop and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products. Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue. Interact with internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and manage collections. Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in the development of sales forecasts. Complete required documentation and reporting for contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls and expense reports. Seek new customers by prospecting following Company sales strategies and tactics. Analyze confidential information, prepare reports and general correspondence; exercise independent judgment in matters of significance. Demonstrate regular, consistent, and punctual attendance and be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Employee Expectations
