Product Marketing Director – IC Bus
will lead the development and execution of our go-to-market strategies, ensuring that every product launch, market initiative, and dealer enablement effort drives measurable growth in market share and customer satisfaction. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and will position IC Bus as the clear choice for school districts, contractors, municipalities, and private operators. Responsibilities
Lead IC Bus go-to-market strategy — from market segmentation and positioning through launch execution, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking. Develop and execute value propositions for target market segments, aligning with overall Navistar sales and marketing objectives. Plan and manage new product introductions — including launch strategy, messaging, training programs, and dealer readiness initiatives. Integrate Voice of Customer (VOC) insights into product positioning and marketing tactics to ensure relevance and competitive differentiation. Create and deploy sales tools and training materials to strengthen dealer product knowledge, sales skills, and market penetration in priority segments. Represent IC Bus at key industry events — including trade shows, conferences, and state association meetings — with a focus on brand leadership and customer engagement. Drive segment-specific strategies for school districts, contractors, municipalities, and commercial operators, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and bid processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, Dealer Network, and Brand Communications to align product messaging and market execution. Manage and develop team members to achieve strategic objectives, maintain operational excellence, and build future leadership capability. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree At least 12 years of marketing, sales, engineering, service operations, product-related, or other relevant experience in the commercial vehicle (or related) industry At least 2 years of lead experience OR Master’s degree At least 8 years of marketing, sales, engineering, service operations, product-related, or other relevant experience in the commercial vehicle (or related) industry At least 2 years of lead experience OR At least 14 years of marketing, sales, engineering, service operations, product-related, or other relevant experience in the commercial vehicle (or related) industry At least 2 years of lead experience Additional Requirements
