What You’ll Be Responsible For Circle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to lead, as a Senior Director, our Industry Marketing and Account Based Marketing functions. This person will be based in the United States, but will have a global remit. This role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing and serves as the primary liaison with global Business Development leadership for pre-Sales Demand Generation initiatives. The leader will develop our account-centric demand generation plan across multiple products, verticals, channels, and geographies, and lead Industry and deal-specific positioning initiatives across key focus verticals (Payments, Banking) to deliver pre-Sales consideration and pipeline. Key responsibilities include close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Creative Labs, Sales Development, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations). The team will develop and implement customized deal-centric positioning for pre-sales prospecting and deal maturation, map product messages to customer needs, and engage target markets. Strong stakeholder management with Revenue and cross-functional leaders is essential. Own global pipeline mix and the marketing-driven conversion funnel for core products in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Develop deal-specific positioning and collateral in target industry verticals (beginning with Payments and Banking) leveraging Product Marketing assets to create narratives and educational collateral for BD teams. Manage stakeholders within the Revenue organization to gather feedback on prospect interactions. Own target account lists across products, industries, and geographies in collaboration with Revenue Strategy. Lead ABM engagements for named accounts, coordinating with SDR teams for effective targeting. Monitor and allocate ABM budgets with Performance Marketing and agency partners. Collaborate with Marketing Operations to refine tactics and content based on campaign activity and outcomes. What You’ll Bring To Circle Core Requirements 12+ years of experience in Account Based Marketing, Demand Generation, Industry marketing, strategic go-to-market, or product/partner marketing, with hands-on experience in at least one of crypto, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure verticals. 5+ years of people management experience and 5+ years partnering with Sales and Business Development teams. Expertise in B2B campaign design and deployment, message development, results analysis, and reporting. Proven ability to develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for complex, technical products. Robust knowledge of how money moves in a global construct. Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to credibly engage with cross-functional leaders to drive results. High integrity, curiosity, and a proactive approach to leadership in ambiguous environments. Preferred Requirements Understanding of how fintech/crypto infrastructure facilitates automation and acceleration of money movement, storage, and access. Strong time management and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Demonstrated success navigating complex business environments and driving efficient execution. Starting pay is determined by relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs. Compensation ranges may differ by location.
