Overview
The VP of Mitigation & Contents is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the divisions day-to-day operations, ensuring profitability, compliance with IICRC standards, and seamless execution of emergency mitigation and packout services. This role leads the Mitigation and Contents Divisions, Estimating & Claims, and Shared Services while driving efficiency, accountability, and growth. The VP also serves as the primary point of escalation for emergencies, ensuring rapid response and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Oversee mitigation, packout, warehouse, estimating, and customer service operations. Maintain 24/7 readiness and availability for emergency response events. Oversee dispatch, crew scheduling, and resource allocation. Track KPIs including gross margin, labor efficiency, receivables, and client satisfaction. Review and approve estimates, supplements, and non-salvage inventories. Supervise managers and coordinators across divisions, recruit and retain staff. Maintain strong relationships with adjusters, carriers, and property managers. Ensure compliance with IICRC, OSHA, and company standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 7+ years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, or related industry. Background in water/fire mitigation, packouts, and insurance restoration. Proficiency in DASH Restoration Management Software (required). Strong P&L management, job costing, and operational analytics experience. IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT preferred). Must be available for after-hours emergencies and major loss response.
