Overview
The Sports Brand Solutions groups serve the Disney Advertising Sales team as experts on specific sports/properties (i.e. College Football, NBA, NFL, Womens Sports). The group drives advertising revenue via cross platform sponsorship opportunities and turnkey, customized marketing solutions. The SBS team oversees the development and execution of sponsorship deliverables to ensure sponsorship elements and enhancements run correctly. The group collaborates with internal stakeholders including Sales, Production, Programming, Editorial, Revenue & Operations, Consumer Marketing and Legal to strategically maximize revenue opportunities across linear, digital, social, streaming, on-site, and more. The SBS team provides creative marketing sponsorship and integration opportunities across ESPNs content portfolio. The team manages the complete sponsorship process including, but not limited to, rights negotiations, strategy, ideation, and execution. The SBS team also manages day-to-day external sales relationships with League and 3rd party production partners to ensure we follow contractual guardrails and maximize revenue opportunities. The Coordinator, Sports Brand Solutions, will support our sponsorship business specifically for
News and Information
(SportsCenter, First Take, Pardon the Interruption, Get Up), Soccer, and select special initiatives. The primary role is to work with internal teams to schedule and book on-air and digital/social sponsorships, completing sales obligations for
all
programming related News & Information, including Studio Shows, Digital/Social Handles, and Soccer. The Coordinator will help create and maintain grids for each property to ensure proper allocation for each program and all digital/social sponsorship. Ultimately, the role is to maintain order and streamline all areas of the sponsorship process from pitch through execution. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role
Post Sale Book features within Disney Ad Sales/ESPN systems (managing the process directly with the sales teams and their clients)
Communicate with TV Ad Ops any schedule changes and updates
Manage Sponsorship tracking grids for the SBS team to maintain a clear perspective on integration availability and potential content overlaps within given windows that impact production and sales conversations
View and clip integrations to confirm accuracy, share with sales teams, and elevate any issues
Assist team in the creation, delivery, and maintenance of sponsored graphics and studio requests
Sales Materials Assist in developing sales opportunities for News & Information Programming
Assist with digital and social product creation
Assist with multimedia pricing requests
Support the ideation process for new opportunities
Upload/Update materials across Microsoft TEAMS, SolutionCenter, Smartsheets and SalesHub
Communicate opportunities to sales utilizing organization-wide processes
Streamline Communication and Transparency Manage status reports, meeting recap notes, etc.
Assist with the upkeep and distribution of weekly obligations across the sport vertical (includes ESPN production, programming, commercial operations, Ad ops, etc.)
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs
1+ year of marketing or sponsorship preferred
Highly organized, time management skills, ability to multi-task
Willingness to work flexible hours and/or occasional travel
Preferred
Thorough understanding of ESPN Studio News & Information landscape
High level of creativity
Strong written and presentation skills
High level of customer service
Self-starter with ability to work independently, while being accountable to team
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training
Bachelors Degree
#DisneyAdvertising The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $55,800 to $74,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
