Director Marketing Operations (Remote) (Salesforce) Job Summary
The Director of Marketing Operations is a strategic leader responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the systems, data and processes that power the marketing organization. This role serves as the operational backbone of the marketing function--driving efficiency, performance measurement, technology integration, project management and budget alignment; playing a critical role in campaign execution, lead management, sales alignment and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in marketing operations, particularly within B2B and healthcare technology environments to modernize the current marketing infrastructure and tech stack. Working cross-functionally, this leader ensures that marketing efforts and performance are best in class, scalable, measurable and aligned with business goals. Job Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing operations strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance marketing efficiency and scalability. Lead the evolution and management of the marketing technology stack (e.g., Salesforce, Demandbase, ON24) to support lead generation, nurturing, and ABM programs. Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure ROI, campaign effectiveness and pipeline contribution. Oversee lead lifecycle management, including lead scoring, routing and data integrity to ensure strong sales alignment. Partner with Finance and Marketing leadership to manage budgets, vendor contracts and resource planning. Support campaign planning through workflow automation, segmentation and audience targeting. Establish and enforce best practices for campaign setup, data governance and analytics. Lead marketing attribution modeling and reporting to evaluate performance across channels. Provide strategic insights to inform marketing planning and forecasting. Collaborate with Sales Operations and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment on pipeline goals and system integration. Lead cross-functional project management across the marketing department, ensuring initiatives are scoped, resourced, and delivered on time and within budget. Implement project management frameworks and tools to improve visibility, accountability, and collaboration across marketing teams. Develop hiring plans and define roles to scale the team in alignment with business growth. Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing operations team and manage key vendor relationships. Job Scope
This position works independently under general supervision to complete the position responsibilities. Work may often be varied and complex in nature and require an extensive array of knowledge. The incumbent utilizes in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills and an understanding of company priorities to achieve results. The incumbent may provide mentorship to department colleagues as needed. Job Requirements (Education, Experience, and Training)
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field (MBA a plus). 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or demand generation -- preferably in B2B or healthcare technology environments. Deep understanding and hands on experience in marketing automation and CRM platforms (Salesforce required). Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights and drive strategic decisions. Experience with ABM platforms, data tools and reporting solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics). Proven ability to communicate complex data and operational insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience with predictive analytics, customer segmentation models, or marketing mix modeling to inform strategy. Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA) and how they impact marketing operations in healthcare or regulated industries. Comfortable working in fast-paced, regulated industries like healthcare. 10-20% travel required, primarily for team and/or planning meetings. Compensation
The salary range for this position is 130-140K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity. Benefits
