Overview
As part of the Marketing Department, Pechanga Creative Studios produces engaging video content for broadcast, digital marketing, in-room hotel, sponsorships, and public relations. The Creative Studios Manager – Post-Production is responsible for the supervision, leadership, and execution of all post-production activities, including editing, motion graphics, color, VFX, and delivery across platforms. This role manages the post-production team and ensures all creative content aligns with Pechanga’s brand standards, deadlines, and strategic objectives. While primarily focused on post-production, the Manager may assist in production as needed. Key Responsibilities
Supervise editors, motion graphic designers, and post-production staff. Oversee editing, motion graphics, sound mixing, color grading, VFX, and finishing for all Creative Studios projects. Establish and maintain efficient workflows, schedules, and quality standards for post-production. Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to elevate the team’s output. Collaborate with internal clients to ensure projects meet strategic and creative objectives. Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables, including broadcast, web, social, and in-house platforms. Maintain organized project assets and oversee final delivery of files. Stay current with emerging editing, animation, and post-production technologies. Mentor team members and foster professional growth. Assist the Creative Studios Director in departmental leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, hiring, and performance management. Support production needs when required, including camera, lighting, or on-set supervision. Participate in on set consultation during production of major marketing efforts. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Work in collaboration with the Creative Studios director and Creative Studios manager in the preproduction phase of all projects to ensure cohesive message and creative vision are carried throughout the entire production process. ACCOUNTABILITY: This position serves in a management capacity. Responsibilities may include budgeting and forecasting, hiring/terminations, employee relations issues, mentoring and corrective actions. Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of Pechanga Resort Casino and for maintaining and providing a positive and professional work environment. Qualifications and Guidelines
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: Bachelor\u2019s degree in related and relevant field to the position is required or a minimum of ten (10) years or relevant and direct work experience required. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be combined in lieu of degree/experience requirements. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This position also requires the ability to write simple correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position also requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, expressions and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: This position is the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class “A” gaming license. Skills/Abilities
Must be highly creative, incorporating graphics, video, animation, sound, and music into compelling and cutting-edge video content for Pechanga Resort Casino. Strong creative and problem-solving abilities in the realm of compelling and cutting-edge video content. Mastery of compelling visual storytelling, color theory, typography, and frame composition. Advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Cinema 4D, DaVinci Resolve, VFX compositing, editing, and illustration. Full understanding of 4K+ video workflows, codecs, and standards. Advanced knowledge of video color science, scopes, and grading tools. Advanced knowledge of audio mixing and delivery standards. Must have experience in creating original content. Ability to execute on the artistic vision needed to properly showcase the resort. Detail-oriented with a strong collaborative work ethic. Management skills with ability to mentor and lead teams effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with daily deadlines and minimal supervision. Adaptability to change with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude. Excel under pressure while maintaining high creative standards. Other Qualifications
