Are you a compliance-minded operations leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments? As the Director, Marketing Compliance & Capabilities Operations, you’ll lead the product managers and capabilities that ensure Humana’s marketing communications are executed with precision, compliance, and member impact. You’ll oversee the operational backbone of marketing governance—enabling speed, scale, and accountability across campaigns and platforms.

You’ll also develop and own the enterprise business strategy and implementation for profile consent and preferences, while managing tools, vendors, and capabilities that support inclusive communications, regulatory enablement, and business continuity. This role is ideal for someone who blends operational excellence with regulatory rigor—ensuring every message we send is accurate, timely, and aligned with our mission to put health first.

As a strategic leader in Humana’s Marketing Technology and Operations organization, you will oversee the execution and governance of marketing compliance and operational capabilities.

Consent & Preferences Strategy

Lead product managers responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and agile delivery of enterprise consent and preference capabilities

Develop and own the business strategy for profile consent and preferences, enabling scalable, compliant, and personalized communications

Partner with data science and engineering teams to explore AI/ML-powered consent orchestration and predictive preference modeling

Ensure product development aligns with regulatory requirements, customer experience goals, and enterprise architecture

Compliance Enablement

Lead product managers focused on ADA accessibility, translation workflows, and TCPA compliance

Own relationships with compliance-focused vendors and platforms, ensuring tools and services meet regulatory standards

Create toolkits, templates, and training materials to support compliant campaign execution across channels

Embed compliance capabilities into MarTech and marketing operations workflows, partnering with platform and execution teams

Explore and implement AI-powered tools for automated accessibility checks, translation quality assurance, and consent validation

Monitor and report on capability usage, effectiveness, and adoption across business units

Business Continuity & Risk Management

Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across Marketing functions

Own the Marketing Risk Register and escalation protocols, ensuring timely updates and visibility

Coordinate incident response for Marketing-owned systems and campaigns, partnering with IT and enterprise risk teams

Collaborate with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Legal to align on standards, testing, and documentation

Leverage AI/ML tools to proactively detect anomalies in campaign execution, monitor risk signals, and support automated incident triage and escalation

Operational Governance

Maintain and evolve standard operating procedures (SOPs) across compliance and risk capabilities

Track and manage Issues & Opportunities (IOPs), ensuring resolution paths and visibility

Ensure documentation is version-controlled, audit-ready, and accessible to stakeholders

Manage and optimize inclusive communication capabilities, including alternate formats (e.g., braille) and translations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, legal, compliance, IT, and experience transformation teams to ensure cohesive delivery and governance

Support vendor evaluations and contract management in collaboration with procurement and legal

Influence enterprise standards and contribute to governance forums related to marketing compliance and risk

Your leadership will ensure Humana’s marketing operations are built for trust, transparency, and impact—supporting better health outcomes through better communication.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience in marketing operations, compliance enablement, or risk management

Experience managing inclusive communication capabilities (e.g., ADA, translations) and consent/preference platforms

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as TCPA, ADA, CAN-SPAM and HIPAA

Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships

Experience developing and maintaining business continuity plans and risk registers

Excellent documentation, governance, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree or certification in Risk Management, Compliance, or Business Continuity

Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, insurance, financial services)

Familiarity with MarTech platforms and embedding compliance into campaign workflows

Background in operational transformation, audit readiness, or enterprise governance

Experience with inclusive design, accessibility standards, and multilingual communications

Experience implementing AI/ML tools for compliance monitoring, intelligent consent management, or automated accessibility validation

Additional Information To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40

Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$168,000 - $231,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
