Associate Corporate Counsel, Prime Video Sports. Join the Prime Video Legal team within Amazon’s Global Entertainment Legal group to support sports content, media, and technology initiatives. Prime Video is part of Amazon’s Global Entertainment Legal group, delivering sports content, movies, TV shows, music, games, audiobooks, podcasts, and streaming entertainment to customers worldwide. As a member of the Prime Video Legal team, you will help create the future of sports and entertainment and support a growing global streaming service. Responsibilities
Structuring, drafting, and negotiating licensing, production, marketing, and other commercial agreements Helping launch new sports properties and reinvent how customers consume sports content Providing ongoing legal counsel across fields including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance Travel may be required Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of legal experience Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent Experience in transactional, licensing, or other commercial legal work Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the sports industry Experience with a top corporate law firm and/or top in-house position Knowledge of internet, software, and media industries and the legal/regulatory environment Enthusiasm for sports, entertainment, and technology with awareness of current industry trends Experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and closing a broad range of commercial contracts Ability to make difficult judgments in ambiguous situations Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent analytical and communication skills Creativity, self-awareness, and a sense of humor Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
