Are you a creative communicator with a passion for storytelling and social media? Do you know how to turn brand values into engaging narratives that resonate across multiple platforms? We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who can craft compelling stories that connect, inspire, and drive engagement for our two law firms and historic building located in Ybor City.

A successful candidate will have the ability to find the story everywhere and have specialized knowledge of all platforms to grow engagement with content that stays on message and on brand.

Required Skills:
· Proven experience as a journalist, content creator, or similar role
· Strong portfolio showcasing content across various platforms (blog posts, social media posts, video, etc.)
· Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
· Familiarity with social media platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, X, etc.) and analytics tools.
· Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
· Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities:
· Create original, engaging, and high-quality content for social media, blogs, email, newsletters, websites, and more.
· Capture non-traditional stories that will distinguish us from others – in addition to traditional posts about achievements, celebrations, acknowledgements, etc.
· Work with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall campaigns and brand messaging.
· Stay up to date with trends in content creation, social media, and the industry to ensure our content remains relevant and innovative.
· Run prize programs for our offices and client portal.
· Negotiate deals for attractive prizes and ‘sell’ them to participants, ensure proper distribution, and track activities.
· Track engagement on mail notice system for client portal.
· Manage swag inventory and distribution.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or marketing or a combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in a corporate/industry setting.

Schedule:
· Office hours are 8am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8am to 3pm on Friday, but flexibility is required as projects may demand additional hours, including weekends.

· Salary is between $20/hour-$25/hour, based upon experience.
