Job Title: Technical Writer I
Location: 100% onsite at one of 3 locations:
The workers will work 40 hours a week from one of those locations.
Duration: 5+ Months Contract with high possibilities of extension
Hours: 8am to 5pm

- 2 years of experience as a Tech Writer for a manufacturing company.
- Candidates must be able to hit the ground running writing SOPs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, edit, and format technical documentation that includes process manuals, system specifications, guideline documents, and procedure manuals.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to gather and interpret information about their documentation needs.
- Standardize content across platforms and media to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Review and edit existing documentation to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Work closely with project teams to understand product details and develop appropriate content.
- Convert complex technical terminologies into user-friendly language to ensure understandability.
- Conduct periodic reviews and revisions of documents to ensure that the updates and changes in the processes are captured accurately.
Education & Experience:
- n associate degree preferred in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field OR currently enrolled in one of these programs at an accredited college/university.
- 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer for a manufacturing company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- bility to understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Proficient in using MS Office and other documentation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
