Our Community Management department is growing, and we’re looking for a Community Manager to join our team. We need an engaging, self-starting individual who stays on top of the latest trends and emerging social platforms. This role will involve working alongside a team of Community and Social Managers, helping to establish processes, and working towards goals to ensure smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams and external clients. A strong community management and strategic background is essential, as well as a passion for working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving space.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with the Content and Creative teams to develop community management strategies and creative ideation for Viral Nation’s top-tier brands across all social media platforms
- Act as a strategic community manager and engage with followers on all social platforms, with a focus on YouTube, to enable growth and engagement in alignment with client KPIs
- Curate periodical reports for the reporting manager demonstrating engagement and analytics
- Own the execution of daily posts, monitor analytics, and maintain accounts on key social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, etc.)
- Develop and manage content calendars for dedicated accounts and provide recommendations to enhance content, copy and identify agile moments with a focus on YouTube long-form content, YouTube Shorts and YouTube Community Tab
- Present analytics feedback and insights gained from social media marketing to help evolve strategies in a timely fashion
- Collaborate with the Content, Creative and Accounts divisions to ensure processes and protocols are followed and enhanced
- Act as the YouTube social media expert at Viral Nation, keeping the team up-to-date with changes in the ecosystem, current best practices and trends
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–4 years of professional experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytical tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.)
- Must have a university degree or college diploma in a relevant field such as marketing, business, public relations, communications, and/or equivalent work experience
- Experience professionally managing social media for brands
- Experience growing brands on social media through strategic community management
