Data Scientist, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Job at Acceleration Partners in
Acceleration Partners, Dallas, TX, United States, 75215
Overview
Remote – Work From Home. The Data Scientist role at Acceleration Partners (AP) is a remote, work-from-home position. Some travel may be required for internal meetings, conferences, and other events.
Role
Acceleration Partners is seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing team. This role will design, build and scale our proprietary enterprise platform, APVision, powering the future of affiliate and influencer marketing.
You will design, implement, and operationalize advanced statistical models, predictive algorithms, and experimentation frameworks that enable AP to deliver actionable intelligence to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with a passion for solving complex business problems in marketing analytics.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Modeling & Prediction: Collaborate with development and analytics teams to build, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models (e.g., time-series forecasting, causal inference, marketing mix models) to predict partner and channel performance within APVision. Leverage Bayesian and other modern frameworks to solve ambiguous marketing challenges.
- Data Engineering & Transformation: Partner with data engineering to structure, clean, and transform large-scale affiliate, influencer, and retail media datasets for analytics and modeling. Contribute to improvement of pipelines and processes that support scalable experimentation and model deployment.
- Experimentation & Measurement: Design and analyze A/B tests, geo-experiments, and incrementality studies that measure the true impact of affiliate and influencer marketing campaigns. Develop new metrics and evaluation frameworks to track success and uncover anomalies.
- Strategic Insights & Recommendations: Translate model outputs into clear, actionable insights for clients and AP account teams. Partner cross-functionally with delivery, product, and strategy leaders to drive adoption of data-driven recommendations.
- Innovation & Thought Leadership: Research emerging methods and bring forward new approaches to attribution, forecasting, and ROI measurement across affiliate, influencer, and retail media. Contribute to AP’s reputation as a leader in data-driven marketing strategy.
What Success Looks Like
By 6 Months: Develop baseline predictive models for affiliate and influencer performance. Work cross-functionally to support campaign measurement and experimentation initiatives. Insights directly influence client strategies and internal product development.
By 1 Year: Own and continuously improve a suite of predictive models and measurement frameworks core to AP’s analytics platform. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, bringing data-driven clarity to client strategy, product direction, and market opportunities. AP’s teams will use your outputs to guide client recommendations and strategic planning.
