Position Overview:
Seeksing a seasoned Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) implementation with deep expertise in Salesforce and/or Visualfabriq platforms. The ideal candidate will drive the end-to-end implementation of TPM solutions, ensuring all technical and functional elements are fit-for-purpose, future-ready, and seamlessly integrated into existing business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of TPM implementation projects on Salesforce or Visualfabriq, from initial design through to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Define, prioritize, and communicate clear “jobs to be done” for the implementation program, ensuring alignment with client strategic objectives and sales execution priorities.
- Proactively identify process and system gaps, inefficiencies, or risks; develop and execute actionable plans for their remediation.
- Establish robust, scalable TPM models and workflows that support effective trade planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Ensure TPM solution design aligns with business requirements, industry best practices, and client internal standards for system integration and data validation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, Finance, and external vendors to drive adoption and maximize business value from TPM investments.
- Design and execute rigorous data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy of TPM data and seamless integration with downstream systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, functional requirements, test cases, and training materials.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to business users, acting as the SME and escalation point for TPM system/process issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing Trade Promotion Management solutions, preferably on Salesforce and/or Visualfabriq, within FMCG or CPG sectors.
- Deep understanding of TPM functions—planning, execution, accruals, settlement, and post-event analysis.
- Solid track record in system integration, especially between TPM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
- Expertise in data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance in the context of trade promotion processes.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; aptitude for driving cross-functional alignment and change management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global matrix environment.
- Salesforce and/or Visualfabriq certification(s).
- Experience with process automation, workflow tools, or custom reporting/dashboarding.
- Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and compliance within CPG/FMCG environments.
