We are seeking a Senior Vice President, B2B Technology, to lead as part of the leadership team, drive client strategy and growth, mentor teams, and guide client management and operational excellence across selected accounts. Key Responsibilities
Oversee $1.5-2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel Consistently develop and communicate coherent strategies for clients and projects Engage with top executives at leading technology companies as a trusted counselor and advisor Own and drive cornerstone agency initiatives (career development, client service quality, financial performance, and operational improvements) Generate business within existing clients by analyzing the full marketing and communications mix and recommending expanded services Identify and lead pitches to attract new clients with growth goals tied to salary Collaborate with integrated teams to deliver multi-channel solutions across traditional PR, digital, and social media for optimal results Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement with a commitment to quality Manage, mentor, and develop staff with a collaborative approach; monitor performance and set objectives Represent Highwire and key clients at industry events to build networks and support business development Service clients profitably while monitoring staff billability, client needs, and resource load Maintain account group revenue by managing budgets and evolving client portfolios Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in communications (in-house or agency) with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity Proven ability to build relationships with reporters and editors and secure high-impact placements Extensive writing and editing experience for external audiences across print and online media Experience with social media influence, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification Leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing program Innovative thinker with a track record of turning strategy into action Experience building, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications professionals Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills Ability to adapt decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs Experience setting up measurement programs and tracking ROI of communications activities Highwire Perks
