Title: Senior Manager, IDN HCP Marketing - Oncology & Immunology Location: Princeton, NJ - Office Summary: The Senior Manager, Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing – Oncology and Immunology role requires a highly motivated and resourceful individual who has solid marketing acumen and leadership behaviors necessary to deliver brand strategic imperatives. Demonstrated success in health care professional (HCP) and patient marketing within oncology, dermatology, immunology or rheumatology as well as biologics is REQUIRED. Specific experience within the Hospital and Organized Customer space is highly preferred. This is a team leader role recognized for the ability to influence matrix team members and manage multiple agencies for the development and execution of HCP and patient promotion plans. Experience with budget management, samples management, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and lifecycle management is expected. Effective cross-matrix collaboration with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access and the Insights and Analytics teams is required. Demonstrated experience developing resources for the Hospital and Buy and Bill space is preferred. Highly talented, professional individuals who collaborate well within teams and have a sense of humor are preferred. Key Responsibilities
Lead annual brand and budget plan Support annual forecast process and monthly performance updates Lead annual manufacturing forecast process for product and track monthly performance against forecast Support evolution of the brand strategy and lifecycle management opportunities to build brand relevance by addressing unmet needs in identified diseases Update message platform across customers as new data become available and ensure consistency of brand story across customers Create and execute personal and non-personal promotion consistent with brand strategic imperatives and brand story Partner with Digital Center of Excellence to develop and ensure all brand digital strategies are optimized Lead, manage and integrate agencies into the marketing team to ensure project work is consistent with brand strategy and differentiated Collaboratively lead review of promotion with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory Review team to ensure compliant, effective promotion Partner with business analytics in the development of primary research, assessment of secondary research and competitive analyses; translate research and data into actionable insights Align with business partners and agencies on measurement plans to understand ROI and performance against KPIs Work closely with Professional Relations in developing and maintaining KOL relationships Represent Sun and brand with patient and professional societies and advocacy organizations Education & Qualifications
Minimum seven (7) years of pharmaceutical and/or life sciences marketing experience; additional pharmaceutical experience in sales, medical affairs, and market access is a plus Experience with marketing and/or selling biologics within at least two of the following disease areas is REQUIRED: oncology, dermatology, immunology, rheumatology Brand marketing experience with HCPs and patients in the US Experience in developing product strategy and tactical plans aligned to brand vision, positioning and messaging Experience with digital, media marketing, CRM and other programs to build high “engage and act” customer journeys Launch experience desirable Recognized ability to influence matrix team members to deliver brand objectives Effective management of multiple agencies for both HCP and patient promotion plans Experience managing brand overall budget and agency-specific budgets Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines Exceptional oral and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel); Adobe Analytics and Veeva desirable Transparent, ethical, honest, and collaborative team player Excellent problem-solving skills and solution generation Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment without losing focus on business goals Strong and dependable leader who acts with humility and builds trust with management and across stakeholders and cross-functional groups including medical affairs, customer engagement, market access, sales, sales training, finance, legal, regulatory and compliance teams Resourceful with ability to manage multiple responsibilities according to brand plan and timeline deliverables Leadership mindset that seeks opportunities to proactively “own the business” Passion for value creation and building breakthrough brands with strategies and tactics that deliver on customer needs Ability to be decisive based on strong analytical, project management, technical, and fiscal management skills Compensation & Benefits
The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $104,000 to $163,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on location and experience. This position is part of IC Commission Plan and is eligible for the Receipt of Company Vehicle. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Paid time off includes vacation and sick time. The compensation and benefits described are subject to the terms and conditions of governing plans, policies, practices, agreements, or other materials in effect from time to time, including terms regarding eligibility. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will” position and the company reserves the right to modify base salary and other discretionary compensation programs at any time, including for performance, company, or market factors.
