Will work hybrid Mon-Thurs and remote on Friday. Job Summary: This leader will spearhead an AEM implementation and migration for focusing on content architecture, component requirements definition, content and asset taxonomy, DAM configuration, and content workflows. The ideal candidate must deliver concrete artifacts including an AEM Content Audit, updated Content Operations Plan, DAM Taxonomy Framework. This resource will help deliver the new AEM platform and support ongoing content operations on mazdausa.com, helping lead that team and plan for the migration of content operations from Episerver onto AEM. This is a large effort with a creative, content/experience strategy and development team already beginning work. Working within Marketing Automation practice, the Director will establish best practices, implement innovative content technologies, and lead a team of content operations professionals to deliver exceptional client outcomes. The role requires deep ability in content management systems, automation tools, and digital asset management, combined with strong leadership abilities to guide teams through complex, multi-channel content initiatives. The successful candidate will drive the evolution of traditional content processes toward future-focused capabilities, with emphasis on automation, AI implementation, and systems integration. Working within a hybrid office environment (minimum 4 days in-office), this leader manages multiple project teams, develops strong client relationships, and contributes to business growth while ensuring operational excellence in content delivery. Key Responsibilities: Drive strategic content operations initiatives for enterprise clients and channels Lead and develop teams of content operations specialists, managers, and administrators Establish and optimize content workflows, governance, and quality control processes Partner with technology teams to implement AEM and enhance content management platforms Oversee implementation of content automation solutions and AI-powered tools Ensure alignment between content operations and broader digital transformation initiatives Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and client leadership Drive innovation in content delivery methods and operational efficiency Identify and evaluate innovative technologies and tools to improve content creation, management, and distribution processes Develop and manage the content operations team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in content operations, technology, and measurement Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field 8+ years of experience in content operations, digital marketing, or related field 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams Proven track record implementing enterprise content management solutions Experience implementing and managing Adobe Experience Manager Strong understanding of content automation, personalization, and optimization technologies Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and process improvement Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in related field One or more Martech platform certifications Experience with AI/ML applications in content operations Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and integration technologies Experience in agency or consulting environment Proven success scaling content operations for enterprise clients Advanced knowledge of data privacy regulations and content governance Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks Track record of implementing innovative content technology solutions Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives ECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
