As a Technical Writer, you’ll play a key role in transforming complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content. You’ll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fellow writers in a dynamic, quality-driven environment where your expertise and attention to detail make a real impact. Understand complex engineering concepts and reframe them into clear, concise, and user-friendly content. Ensure Quality and Timely Delivery Adhere to Sonovision's Quality Management System and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in team-building activities and foster a collaborative work environment. Stay informed about customer feedback and contribute to resolution strategies. Take ownership of personal development and performance. A sound technical knowledge base in a mechanical, aerospace, electrical field and/or hands-on experience in the aerospace maintenance field and/or significant experience/training in the technical documentation Familiarity with S1000D, ATA2200 and/or MIL-SPEC documents. Previous use and/or knowledge of Simplified English (preferred but not required) Previous use and/or knowledge of SGML/XML (preferred but not required) Proficiency with authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, PTC Arbortext Editor, or Quicksilver is a strong asset. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. Hybrid remote work opportunities.
