Seeking a skilled Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support elementary students in an engaging educational environment. This contract position is based in Lowell, MA, for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities include: Providing specialized instruction and support for students with visual impairments Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success Utilizing assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance learning Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly Preferred qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience working with elementary-aged children Knowledge of Braille, orientation and mobility, and assistive devices Strong communication and collaboration skills Location: Lowell, MA, Elementary School Setting Employment Type: Contract, Current School Year This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by empowering students with visual impairments to achieve their full potential.
