Civil Designer
We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer responsible for preparing comprehensive construction drawings for civil design projects. This role involves integrating site surveys and topographic mapping to establish site base maps, managing site location and facilities layout, and overseeing site demolition and preparation. The designer will also handle site grading and paving, stormwater modeling and management, site utility design, and the integration of buildings and other facility structures such as fencing and retaining walls. Additionally, the role includes developing drawings for site wastewater and potable water systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction drawings for civil design projects.
- Integrate site surveys and topographic mapping to establish site base maps.
- Manage site location and facilities layout.
- Oversee site demolition and site preparation.
- Conduct site grading and paving.
- Model and manage stormwater facilities.
- Design site utilities including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer.
- Integrate building and facility structures such as fencing and retaining walls.
- Develop drawings for site wastewater and potable water systems.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Civil 3D.
- Experience with site development and stormwater management.
- Skilled in Civil design and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Civil 3D.
Work Environment:
The position offers a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work remotely most days. You will work in the office 1-2 days per week, with regular hours from Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
