Overview Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US)
Are you a true marketing nerd with a passion for social media advertising? Do you love building new things with a team motivated to win? Abe is a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising. We help clients leverage LinkedIn, Meta and more to reach, engage, and convert target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team.
We use Customer Generation, a marketing methodology developed by us, focusing on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. This role offers the opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency.
The Social Media Advertising Strategist (Internal Title: Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising) works directly with mid-market and enterprise clients and leads communication of results, creation of custom strategies, and execution of Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.
Responsibilities Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
Serve as direct support to client contacts
Communicate with vendors or operational partners weekly to align tasks, quality, and improvements
Build strategies for clients each quarter
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
Maintain personal productivity and utilization
Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships
Execute and optimize campaigns within LinkedIn (ad copy, TAM, targeting) to maximize ROI
What You Offer (Qualifications) 2+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, supporting B2B clients
Deep expertise in paid social advertising, specifically LinkedIn Ads
Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units (e.g., conversation ads, document ads, CTV)
Proficiency with tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6Sense
Strong paid media principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, optimization
Ability to analyze campaign data with Google Analytics/GA4/Excel and make data-driven decisions
Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
Ability to translate strategy into actionable storytelling with data
Problem solver mindset with a curious, growth-oriented attitude
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Respect for quality while maintaining core values
Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed

Manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
Meet and exceed department KPIs: client growth and goal attainment, with NSMs and Client Satisfaction scores as core metrics
Build client trust and renewals; cross-sell services aligned with client goals
Clearly communicate results with clients and executives; make strategic account decisions
Benefits Salary range: $70,000-$80,000 USD with potential for bonus; actual salary may vary based on compensation practices and experience
