Content Coordinator

Full-time 40hrs/week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

The Content Coordinator is responsible for creating content that will support strategic marketing themes and goals. This position is responsible for creating engaging content for social media, and other communication channels that could include short blogs, writing announcements, and contributing to newsletter copy for e-newsletters, emails, news to friends articles or short stories. This position is also responsible for designing and scheduling content across various platforms and assisting with videography and photography to support strategic initiatives. The Content Coordinator will focus on weaving the mission of HopeWest across multiple platforms to positively showcase the HopeWest brand and further grow and engage our audience.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in related field.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations is preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance maintained throughout employment.

Competencies & Requirements

• Work experience in which organizational skills have been proficiently demonstrated.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Offices and Adobe programs.
• Conceptual knowledge of marketing concepts and approaches as well as latest media trends.
• Must be able to take quality photos for inclusion in printed materials.
• Detail oriented; possess effective and articulate oral and written communication skills.
• Displays the ability to use effective independent judgment and be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Demonstrates appropriate judgment when handling requests from the public and HW team members and/or volunteers.
• Team player who operates within a dynamic, all hands-on deck environment.
• Positive, resourceful, and flexible.
• Well organized, ability to manage multiple tasks on a tight deadline with a great attention to detail.
• Able to work in a variety of environments with people of varying backgrounds and experiences.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $24.41-27.00/hourly
