* Degree in a discipline within Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences or Education;* Experience in the provision of research assistance and/or instruction in an academic library.* Serve as liaison to academic departments within the university’s College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Education (CHASSE), and actively develops relationships with faculty, students, and staff in those departments.;* Provide student research support in-person and online as part of a collaborative service model;* Provide instructional services, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning sessions and other innovative approaches to develop information literacy, research, critical thinking, and technology skills;* Collaborate with faculty and other campus partners to integrate affordable course content (ACC) and open educational resources (OER) into courses and create learner experiences that integrate active and inclusive learning strategies into learner experiences.* Promote open scholarship though faculty and student engagement with the library’s open access (OA) and institutional repository (IR) initiatives;* Engage in scholarly, professional and service activities in accordance with university and library promotion and tenure guidelines.* Work occasional evening and weekend hours to support instructional sessions or library events;* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.* Knowledge of trends in information literacy and open technology;* Superior written and oral communication skills.The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is committed to providing a safe campus community.
