HisAir.Net is hiring: River Radio Events Representative in Columbus

River Radio Ministries (104.9 The River) in Columbus OH is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing person to assist with station events, promotional appearances, and community engagements. This full-time role involves representing the station at events, engaging with listeners, setting up and tearing down event materials, and ensuring a fun and professional experience for attendees, sponsors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and assist with radio station events, concerts, and promotional appearances
• Set up and tear down event materials, including banners, tables, and promotional giveaways.
• Interact with attendees, sponsors, and station listeners to create a positive brand experience.
• Support on-air talent, sales, and marketing teams during events.
• Distribute station promotional materials and swag.
• Assist in executing contests, prize giveaways, and audience engagement activities.
• Handle any on-site challenges or last-minute adjustments with professionalism and efficiency.
• Complete additional in-office tasks and projects as needed
• Handle flexible hours: 60% nights and weekends

Qualifications

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to share your faith in a loving way
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Ability to lift and carry event equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in event promotions, marketing, or customer service is a plus
• Familiarity with audio and visual event equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
