Sr. Shopify UI/UX Developer| W2 ONLY | Remote | Job at Xlysi LLC. in Houston

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and enhancements for our Shopify-based eCommerce stack.

• Build UI-rich, scalable, and accessible website features across multiple browsers and countries.

• Work with Figma to wireframe and design features for internal tooling and storefronts.

• Implement Shopify theme features using latest tech: sections, blocks, Section Rendering API, Checkout Extensibility, Customer Accounts.

• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, Liquid).

• Collaborate within an Agile, cross-functional team to deliver user stories and technical solutions.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Build and integrate UI extensions, GTM dataLayer events, and custom components.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software design & frontend development.

• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript (React), HTML, CSS, Liquid.

• Proficiency with Figma and UI/UX design principles.

• Experience writing custom Web Components.

• Familiarity with GitHub/Bitbucket and Agile environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working on large-scale international eCommerce teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with unit testing, Playwright, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of Shopify Pixel tracking, Checkout UI Extensions, Section Rendering API.

• Experience building for checkout extensibility and customer account UI.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
