Be among the first 25 applicants. INNOVIT USA INC is seeking a Web Developer / Front-End Engineer with a focus on accessibility. Hiring: W2 Candidates Only. Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA. Level: Mid to Lead positions.

Responsibilities

• Function as the IT subject matter expert for website creation and design.
• Provide IT development and user support for website development.
• Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks.
• Ensure responsive design that adapts to various screen sizes.
• Test the website before deployment and debug the website code.
• Maintain the website and support the organization/client on website updates.
• Collaborate with designers to understand and execute their vision.
• Connect the database and maintain integrations.
• Analyze customers' information needs, business problems and opportunities and assist in determining efficient and effective systems/programming solutions.

Qualifications / Technical Competencies

• Builds, designs, and maintains assigned websites and software applications.
• Understands UI and UX, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
• Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs.
• Communicates daily with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.
• Executes assignments with web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as WordPress, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Develops and validates test routines to ensure quality of external and internal interfaces.
• Plans and delivers software platforms and products across multiple organizational units.
• Designs assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc.
• Evaluates written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices (web and mobile).
• Knowledge of ADA web accessibility compliance and WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups.
• Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics usage and website reporting is a plus.
• Knowledge of API hooks with other platforms (e.g., Workday, social media platforms, etc.).
• Knowledge of ESRI or mapping software is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products is a plus.
