Graphic Designer & Editor Job at Scale Marketing in Chicago

Scale Marketing is looking for a versatile Graphic Designer & Editor to join our Creative team. Reporting to the Director of Creative Production, you will play a pivotal role in creating a wide range of visual content, from designing digital ads to editing television spots, social media campaigns, and radio commercials for our diverse range of clients spanning multiple industries. Must include a portfolio or visual examples of relevant work to be considered. Responsibilities: Design and create a wide range of visual assets, including social media graphics, display ads (static and animated), and out-of-home assets Lead the video editing process from start to finish Enhance the visual and audio quality of videos Sound design and mix audio for radio and digital audio commercials Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners Strategically optimize digital assets based on testing and performance Stay updated with emerging trends, digital ad best practices, and AI programs and workflows Set up and package projects for freelance support Requirements: 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Experience with creating digital assets (including HTML5 ads) and advertising creative Strong sense of visual storytelling and creativity Comfortable following a script… until it breaks, and fixing it with best judgment Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously Organized in file management Great interpersonal skills, good judgment, and comfortable working with other creatives and management Confident self-starter with a desire to improve Curious attitude, willingness to learn or teach yourself new things – “everything-is-figureoutable” mindset Comfortable with ambiguity and ready to tackle any challenge Bonus: Familiarity with creation automation platforms or a willingness to learn on the job Bonus: Experience with creative testing and optimization Must include a portfolio or visual examples of relevant work to be considered About Scale Scale Marketing is a team specializing in data-driven marketing for mid sized businesses.
