CRI Genetics is hiring: Lead Product Designer HealthTech, UX / UI & New Product

Overview CRI Genetics is a science-driven HealthTech company delivering ancestry, health, and wellness insights through a powerful platform. We design experiences that help people understand themselves and live healthier lives, built by a fast-moving, mission-driven team focused on discovery and scientific excellence. We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our AI-powered DNA experience from first click to scientific insight. Responsibilities Leading end-to-end UX for our DNA insights platform (from user input to result cards) Owning the end-to-end user experience across core product areas Designing intuitive, evidence-backed experiences in complex subject matter (genetics, AI) Prototyping (Figma or interactive) and collaborating tightly with engineers Building a simple, trustworthy design system and visual language Conducting usability studies and translating findings into UX improvements Pairing with AI / LLM engineers to improve chat results, input / output structure, and navigation Defining and tracking success metrics both quantitative (engagement, activation) and qualitative (user satisfaction, clarity) Qualifications 5–10+ years experience in product design, UX, or interaction design Skilled at user research, journey mapping, and rapid prototyping Strong portfolio of end-to-end design work: problem → exploration → shipped result → impact Comfort designing data-heavy, health-related, or AI-enhanced products Experience building or extending design systems Deep UX and visual craft from wireframes to flows to final UI polish Bonus: background in genomics, science platforms, or tools with regulatory context (HIPAA / CLIA) What We Offer Competitive base salary + performance bonus Meaningful equity / ownership in a profitable, fast-growing company A collaborative, cross-disciplinary team that values bold ideas and fast execution A mission you can be proud of: helping people live better lives through personalized science Compensation Salary 110k – 125k - DOE + Equity + Bonus Location Santa Monica, CA Company Description CRI Genetics is a well-established and rapidly growing genetics company focused on applying cutting-edge research to create impactful products and improve customer experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
