Content Marketing Specialist Job at Knightscope, Inc in Mountain View
Knightscope, Inc, Mountain View, CA, US, 94039
Job Description
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Knightscope Headquarters) – On-Site
Knightscope is seeking a creative, self-directed, and high-performing Content Marketing Specialist to own and elevate our multimedia content strategy. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CEO and will serve as the primary in-house marketing creator focused on expanding Knightscope’s client-facing brand.
You will be responsible for ideating, producing, and distributing strategic content that informs, inspires, and converts — while supporting sales, marketing, investor relations, and public relations efforts across multiple digital platforms.
This is a unique opportunity for a proven content creator to develop and execute content across social media, video, webinars, podcasts, and internal knowledge assets — all within a mission-driven, fast-moving public safety robotics company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and publish engaging short-form video, photo, and written content for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, and Knightscope.com.
- Record, edit, and manage podcasts and video interviews with the CEO and key team members.
- Schedule, host, and support live and on-demand webinars, including coordination of Zoom tools and post-event engagement.
- Own and maintain Knightscope’s Media Kit — ensuring brand assets, bios, logos, and usage guidelines are consistently up to date and accessible.
- Operate as an “AI-first” content marketer — leveraging tools such as ChatGPT, Descript, Midjourney, Canva, CapCut, and others to automate and accelerate creative output.
- Use HubSpot for campaign execution, content publishing, contact management, and performance tracking.
- Align messaging across investor relations, client acquisition, and employee engagement content streams.
- Develop and maintain a lightweight editorial calendar tied to product launches, field deployments, events, and relevant industry milestones.
- Monitor, measure, and report on performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as the digital voice of the company — producing on-brand content that emotionally connects with clients and prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of relevant experience in content marketing, social media production, or digital storytelling.
- Demonstrated portfolio of high-performing content across multiple formats and platforms.
- Proficient in managing webinars and podcasts, including Zoom hosting and video/audio editing workflows.
- HubSpot proficiency is required.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and consistent messaging.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with direct executive access and limited oversight.
- Fluency in AI-based content creation tools and workflows is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Bonus: experience in robotics, govtech, physical security, or B2B marketing.
COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary
- Meaningful stock option grant (equity participation)
- Performance-based bonus
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off, holidays, and additional benefits
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
