About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to step into the critical role of Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief. This is an exciting time for our organization, and the successful candidate will play a key role in honoring our legacy while driving our evolution as a vibrant platform for contemporary feminist thought and creative expression.

Your responsibilities will include establishing a clear and inspiring vision, guiding our editorial direction, and expanding our organization's outreach and visibility. As the chief fundraiser, you will build and nurture relationships with donors and foundations while leading a dedicated team to ensure we successfully fulfill our mission with excellence and integrity.

The ideal candidate will share a deep passion for our feminist and mission-driven focus. You should possess a strong background in fundraising, editorial expertise, and a strategic approach that engages diverse communities. You should be an effective communicator, a thought leader, and a supporter of the cultural trends impacting our fields. This role requires a balance of visionary thinking and hands-on management within a small nonprofit setting.

We are looking for an intergenerational connector and mentor who understands the media habits of younger generations and is enthusiastic about cultivating relationships across varied communities. While we recognize that no candidate will meet every criterion, a blend of the experiences and qualities outlined will make for a strong fit.
