Overview Graphic Designer III – Growth & Product Design (QuickBooks) :25-06187 Location: Remote (Pacific Time Zone preferred) Contract: W2 Duration: 10 months Pay Range: $78 – $80/Hour Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer (Contractor) to join the QuickBooks Business Solutions Group Growth Team. The role focuses on designing experiences that drive customer acquisition, onboarding, and in-product discovery . The ideal candidate combines strong visual design fundamentals with expertise in user flows, journey mapping, and design systems , and can create compelling designs that balance business impact with customer delight. Proficiency in Figma and collaboration with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and research) to deliver scalable, impactful design solutions is required. Responsibilities Create and implement designs that support customer acquisition, onboarding flows, and discovery experiences. Develop and maintain scalable assets within Figma design systems. Collaborate across product, engineering, and research teams to refine and deliver designs. Present work clearly, showcasing process from research to wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes. Stay current with design best practices and industry trends to continuously innovate. Must Have Skills Proficiency in Figma and working with design systems. Strong expertise in typography, layout, and color usage. Ability to create user flows and journey maps for complex experiences. Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills. Industry Experience Prior experience in growth/product design or SaaS/fintech preferred. Portfolio demonstrating visual design excellence, user journeys, and scalable systems. Experience with competitors such as Square, PayPal, Brex, HoneyBook, or eBay is a plus, though not mandatory. Education Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Graduate degree is a plus.
