Job Summary The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Enterprise Marketing supports the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of enterprise-wide marketing initiatives that strengthen ScionHealth’s brand visibility, market presence, and alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications, this role helps lead and coordinate cross-functional marketing programs, creative services, internal and external campaigns, brand development, and data-informed market strategies. The AVP plays a key role in translating enterprise vision into actionable, integrated marketing efforts across divisions, facilities, and service lines.
Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of enterprise marketing strategies to elevate brand awareness and market positioning for ScionHealth and its affiliated brands
Advise business leadership teams on how marketing can drive local and national strategies, initiatives, and programs
Lead strategy, planning, and execution for key growth initiatives, including admission-driving programs, same-store growth efforts, and pilot projects
Manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, video, and recruitment marketing for B2B, B2C, and brand audiences
Collaborate with internal departments and healthcare facilities to align marketing efforts with business development, operational goals, and strategic plans
Translate market research and analytics into actionable insights that drive strategy, growth, and service line visibility
Provide leadership, support, and development to a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration
Participate in departmental strategic planning, including structure, roles/responsibilities, and org chart development
Manage relationships with external vendors and strategic partners to optimize performance and ROI
Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to inform marketing innovation and continuous improvement
Partner with marketing technology team on tools, platforms and integrations to connect marketing actions with consumer insights and operational processes
Establish and reinforce ScionHealth’s value proposition and competitive differentiation through creative and integrated marketing strategies
Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all channels and audiences
Assist in planning and managing the enterprise marketing budget and project timelines
Contribute to crisis communications, external messaging, and community engagement efforts
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Strong strategic thinking and brand management capabilities
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and marketing automation tools
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
Experience developing measurable marketing strategies using advanced analytics
Strong writing, editing, presentation, and visual storytelling skills
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and healthcare marketing compliance
Excellent time management, decision making, project planning, and problem-solving abilities

Occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 20 lbs.
Standard office setting or remote work environment
Up to 20% travel required to healthcare facilities, events, and conferences
Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required
Master’s degree preferred
Licenses/Certifications None Required
Experience Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, including at least three (3) years in a leadership or enterprise-level strategic role
Experience in healthcare marketing required
